The gallery will be open from 4-8PM, with our Art Specialists on site from 6-8PM. Bring your family. You'll be blown away! Click here for this year's Art Gallery flyer. Thank you to Julia Lieberman, a senior at SBHS, for the design.

SBSD Parent Academy: HIB Law Update for Parents, Presented by John Worthington, ESQ.

In an effort to further collaborate with the families in our community, the district is offering an informative session on Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) on April 23, 2024, at 6:30PM, in the auditorium at Crossroads North Middle School.

In this session parents will be provided with:

-an overview of the laws governing bullying in New Jersey to provide an understanding of how they apply to their children; -the difference between Code of Conduct and HIB violations; -the recent changes to the law, as well as some court cases that impact how the laws are applied; -information on free speech and social media issues and requirements; -the procedures to be followed should a student be a victim or perpetrator in a bullying case; and -the rights of students and unique procedures for certain students, including LGBTQ students and students with disabilities.

Please register for this event, and childcare (if needed), by 4/16 using this form
